The Blood Com-meth

          So with the new(ish) release of the Space Marine codex i have finally decided to start a marine army. But i decided to start a blood angel army. Doesn't make much sense i know the new marine codex blood angels not together i know but i figure that it shouldn't be long until they get their new codex, but saying that we all know GW don't we but here is for the hope.

So to start a quick list of the units i have got so far:

1x Space Marine Commander

1x Space Marine Commander (AoBR)

20x Tactical (2 Squads of ten)

5x Death Company

1x Droppod

10x Assault Terminators

1x Land Raider

15x Assualt Marines (3 Squads of 5)

1x Stormraven

On order i have 3x scout bikes, another 5 death company, 5 Sanguinary guard, Second Droppod and a furioso dreadnaught. so all in its around 2k points. 

But enough of that these are a few pics of what i have painted so far. As usual please excuse the pic quality and yes they are shiny but for the first time i have actually varnished them and it is a matt varnish lol.

 So a few more to go as always :) 

Been A While

So i noticed the other day i haven't put anything up for quite a while now, so i decided that it was about time i started posting some stuff up again.
Here are a few bits i have been working on lately:

       Quick paint job for a friend of mine . His Dark Angels venerable dreadnought

       Vampire counts Hexwraiths. so far i only have this one complete although in this pic its not finished. There is fire coming from various spots on the model that i have painted in green. I will post more pics of them when i have finished all 10 of them and they are based

       And finally for today here are two pics of my current conversion work. My single winged heldrake. I decided to bit the bullet and make a single wing out of the three normal wings, it still needs a lot of work but it is getting there slowly. 

Keep posted i will be adding more as and when i get the chance to finish projects, so for now have fun all....

Dark Angel WIP

So today i have been working on a mates Dark Angel Land Raider, here is where im at at the moment.

So after a chaos black base coat i airbrushed a few coats of Dark Angels green. I took the icon off the internet and made a template of it and airbrushed the template in light grey/white, unfortunately it didn't just stay in the template so i went back in with a brush and defined the icon with black paint. After this dried i went back to the airbrush and again sprayed the whole top with the same dark angel green paint.

Im not that happy with the outcome as you can still see where i adjusted/defined the icon. I should have used the template before i did the first coat of green so when i went in with the black it would be the same colour as the base coat so you wouldn't see it. but ill have to do that for the next tank.

So here is hoping i don't mess up on the details and weathering.

Necrons painted so far...

My Necrons army first started out as my wifes. She wanted to paint them up in a pink color scheme and i started some as well and wanted to paint them up in red. After a while she wasn't feeling the love for them and i was having more to do with then playing wise, so i "acquired" them from her. I decided to stay with the pink scheme to have them different  As i was painting them up they have gone from pink to more of a purple which i like and they are different. So here are the ones i have got painted so far.

Hi all just a quick post. I have nearly finished painting up 10 necron deathmarks (just need to paint the eye and a few extra highlights). I have just realized that i have yet to base any of them. So what do you think i should do for the bases? I want to do something a bit different but still needs to be relatively quick and simple. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think i should do for them. Hopefully i will get the pic quality sorted out soon.
